Freedom City Gardens is a family affair that also works as a collective. Meet the folks who make it all happen! We see the importance of our work and care deeply about what we do every day. Owner-operator Jean Young is an educator, an experienced gardener, and a doctoral candidate at the University of Georgia (UGA). She  loves the work of running the farm, from planning to planting, harvest, and then to market. Daughter Erica, who is also business owner and a jewelry designer, is always on hand to help out with the planning and the heavy lifting. Fellow expert farmers Noreen, Diana, and Joy are on hand to lend advice. Korra-pet is down for almost anything and loves to play, swim, and dine on oat grass cover crop.
